Come with me on my very first solo adventure-and of course, I went big and chose Tulum.
I flew from Kansas City to Cancun, then road-tripped it two hours to Tulum for a few days of poolside peace, scooter rides, and spontaneous magic. I stayed at the dreamy Hotel Milam, where my room had a private pool (yes, IN the middle of the room!).
In this vlog, I explore downtown Tulum, rent a scooter, swim in a cenote, check out the surreal Neek Lagoon, and somehow find myself at a random drag show.. I also have dinner at The OG’s, a restaurant with Kansas City roots and one of the coolest dining experiences I’ve ever had.
This trip was everything: peaceful, wild, unexpected, and fully mine. If you’ve been thinking about solo travel, take this as your sign.
