This vlog documents our epic running club trip to the beautiful Costa Blanca for a weekend packed with miles, medals, sunshine, and serious celebrations!

🏃‍♂️ Saturday – Shakeout & Expo Day
We kicked off the weekend with an early morning shakeout run along the Alicante promenade, followed by a well-earned Spanish breakfast. From there, it was race prep time at the Alicante race expo, soaking in the atmosphere before an essential carb-loading dinner with the whole crew.

🏅 Sunday – Race Day!
Race morning delivered big energy as FORDY RUNS RC took on both the Alicante Half Marathon and the Alicante 10K. Huge PB efforts, first international races, and incredible support from the sidelines. The best part? Staying together to cheer home every last runner from the club – because no one finishes alone.

🍻 Post-Race Celebrations
Once the medals were secured, the celebrations began! Pub drinks turned into beachside vibes as we soaked up the Spanish sunshine. The night built up to a special presentation for Alan’s 60th birthday – a huge milestone celebrated the FORDY way – before we grabbed the mic and finished the trip in a karaoke bar singing our hearts out.

This weekend was about more than racing. It was about community, friendship, achievement, and making memories that last a lifetime.
