The Francesinha 🇵🇹 - I was told about this sandwich back when I first began sandwich posting a few years ago. I've wanted to try it ever since, but the process always seemed too tedious and intimidating for a guy who makes half assed versions of the world's sandwiches on his lunch break.
It was much less tedious than I thought, and incredibly worth the effort. This "final boss" of sandwich making offers great reward. If it's this good when I make it, the real thing must make ordinary folk collapse into a puddle of pure sandwich consciousness.
