CENTAC Application – For Tamil Nadu Students
✅ CENTAC is for college counselling in Puducherry.
✅ JIPMER (Puducherry & Karaikal campuses) is not under CENTAC. It admits only through All India Quota.
✅ Tamil Nadu students are not eligible in State Quota (85%) for Puducherry Government Quota seats (like Indira Gandhi Medical College) - only UT residents are. Tamilnadu students are eligible for All India Quota seats (15%) through All India Counselling
🏥 Private Medical Colleges in Puducherry:
PIMS – Christian Minority
Venkateshwaraa – Telugu Minority
Manakula Vinayagar
👉 For Management/NRI Quota in these colleges, Tamil Nadu students must apply via CENTAC.
📅 Application closes on July 14
💰 Fee: ₹2,000 for 1st round | ₹2 lakh security deposit for 2nd round
🎯 Management seats may appear in 3rd round (esp. in PIMS & Venkateshwaraa)
💸 Fee ranges from ₹15–21 lakhs (excluding extra charges).
⚠️ Deemed universities need separate All India NEET counselling, not CENTAC.
