Passengers had a near-death experience onboard an IndiGo flight after the plane experienced severe turbulence on Wednesday, May 21. IndiGo flight 6E 2142 took off from Delhi for Srinagar with more than 220 people, including TMC MPs, onboard. The plane experienced turbulence due to inclement weather, prompting the pilot to report the “emergency” to air traffic control at Srinagar. Fortunately, the pilot managed to safely land the aircraft in Srinagar with no injury reported officially. Some passengers captured the moments of turbulence on their mobile phones and shared the videos on social media. One of the videos passengers crying, weeping, screaming and praying as the aircraft shook violently.
