However, the event was marked by the conspicuous absence of major political figures, including former Deputy President of the 9th Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege; NDDC Board Chairman, Chiedu Ebie; Senator Ned Woko; and Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, the Chair of the House Committee on NDDC.
