🌱 Beheading a Variegated Echeveria Lola – Success, Setback, and Lessons Learned 🌱
I decided to behead my variegated Echeveria ‘Lola’ to encourage new growth and stem propagation. At first, everything went perfectly – the head rerooted beautifully and the stem pushed out three healthy pups. But then strong summer sunlight hit, and the pups (and stem) didn’t make it.
In this video I’ll show you the whole journey:

Even though I lost the pups, the main head survived – and I learned an important lesson about caring for variegates. Hopefully this helps you avoid the same mistake!
