In this video, I show how much money my 2000 Subscribers Channel makes, and I share my top 3 biggest mistakes I’ve made when growing the channel towards a full-time job.

First of all, the numbers don't matter immediately. What matters more than numbers are your efforts and the final product. The only numbers you should be looking after are the minimum requirements for getting monetized. That means hitting 1000 Subscribers and 4000 hours of watch time. If you got there, the sky's the limit.

Second of all, before hitting your head into many walls, here are the top 3 mistakes I’ve made:
🔴 Tip 1. Make sure you know all the YouTube rules. The easiest way is to watch a video.
🔴 Mistake 2. Be aware of copyrighted content, both video, and music. If you can get along with the video, copyrighted music tracks are much more exigent. For example, if you have 10 seconds of copyrighted music in your 13 minutes video, you can’t monetize your video at all. That’s why you should pay attention to this aspect.
🔴 Mistake 3. This is more specific, but after you get monetized, you can easily grow your revenue by using mid-roll ads. I tell you more about how that works, so pay attention to this aspect as well.

I know I talked about the numbers, but the main message behind the numbers is that you should know the rules, and after that focus on the content. Also, make sure you know what’s your unfair advantage and use that as your superpower!
