Southern Skies Storytelling Festival was due to happen in May 2020 in Sydney Australia. Due to COVID-19 we present you with this video content as a place-holder. One story per performer per festival day.
Firstly Id like to acknowledge the Dharawal people on whose land I live, work, love, share stories and create. I pay my respect to the traditional owners, to the elders past, present and future.
The aim of the festival is to present multilingual stories and identities of Australia. Let's celebrate our stories, our connections, our community.
This pair of stories are shared by Kirli Saunders.
