This video is about unfortunate experience of an 18-year-old student, Siddhant Batra, who faced the unintended consequence of losing his seat for a four-year electrical engineering course at the esteemed IIT Bombay. It all began when Siddhant accidentally clicked on a wrong link, which was intended for profile withdrawal from the counselling process.

Hailing from Agra, Siddhant took his case to the Supreme Court, seeking their intervention to compel the institution to admit him. However, the IIT stated that it could not intervene at this stage due to the course being fully occupied and the need to adhere to admission regulations.

Initially, Siddhant approached the Bombay High Court, which directed the IIT to consider his petition. He had achieved an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 270 in the JEE Advanced exams.
