Описание: o this year I have some very close friends in the Dj Guide Awards, but for me this is the last chance to publicly honour a true local Dj legend.
The only person to ever dj naked in Portsmouth........
Matt Berry entertained dance music fans in Portsmouth for 17 years. Refusing to restrict himself to his earlier beginnings as a club resident dj, Matt found an outlet for his love of House and Techno after an outstanding warm up set for Nic Fanciulli with PunchFunk in 2005. A performer with energy oozing from his sets, over the years Matt has indulged his crowd through his diverse selection of music, influenced by his peers from the Portsmouth scene. His residencey with PunchFunk, provided a platform to perform with dj’s such as Zane Low, Riva Starr, Alex Metric and Terry Francis. Advocating all forms of electronic music but particularly that which is filthy, rolling tech house. In his own words "If it has a groove, then I like it". His dedication to the Discreet family meant that we rewarded with an unbelievable set following Krafty cuts back in February this year.
I have put together a short video to highlight just some of Matts dj achievements over the past couple of decades.
