[CROSSOVER of traditional Cantonese opera and the century-old Fanling Golf Course 🎶🏌🏻]
With over a hundred years of rich history, the Fanling Golf Course is lined with ancient trees and laid out across spectacular rolling terrain, which perfectly matches the natural landscape often mentioned in traditional Cantonese opera.
Renowned Cantonese Opera actor Mr. Wang Zhi-liang and actress Ms. Lin Ying-shi were invited to the recent 5th charity golf day of the Hong Kong Seeing Eye Dog Services. We were delighted to have them demonstrate professional singing skills and perform the classic repertoire "The Flower Princess: Oath Under the Twins Tree" on the Eden Course. Also, they share the similarities between performing Cantonese opera and playing golf. 😍
