This performance of three of Dr Simon Lindley's most popular choral settings - Ave Maria, in its four-part arrangement; the Easter carol 'Now the green blade riseth from the buried grain'; and the anthem 'Lord I have loved the habitation of Thy house' that sets verses from Psalm 26 - was recorded at York Minster in October 2008 as part of St Peter's Singers of Leeds' concert 'The Composers Conduct' to celebrate Dr Lindley's 60th birthday. The organist is David Houlder.
This summer, 2014, the choir is undertaking an innovative project - One Equal Music. More details can be found on this link: http://igg.me/at/stpeterssingers
