The Reserve Bank of India or the RBI has announced two more tranches of Sovereign Gold Bonds.The SGB series 2023-24 III and IV. The issue price for Series 2023-24 III is at Rs 6,199/gram, as per RBI. Sovereign gold bonds of SGBs are government securities denominated in grams of gold. It's like an alternative to gold. Investors pay the issue price and the bonds will be redeemed at maturity.
