ROUND VALLEY RESERVOIR FISHING - Catching a Limit!!

Описание: My friend Mark and I fished the Round Valley Reservoir located in New Jersey. Round Valley is one the largest and deepest bodies of water in the state I fished this lake many times before and it can be pretty challenging especially when you are fishing from shore. However perseverance can pay off big here as you can have the chance at catching large trout out this body of water. I've never had an awesome day on this lake until this day. We lucked out in our location, bait, and presentation as we were rewarded with a healthy limit of rainbows.

The techniques we used were live minnows fished on slip floats and we fished Powerbait on the bottom using 6 lb flourocarbon on medium spinning gear. Don't need to get too technical when fishing from shore.

. The reservoir is home to a variety of game species and is the current home of the state record Lake Trout. The biggest attraction in the lake is the family of salmonids that call it home. The lake has Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout and is also stocked with Golden trout. If you live withing an hour of this body of water it is well worth your time. Be proactive and don't be afraid to move around until you find active using similar techniques. Tight Lines!
