I really like the Davco visible fuel filters and I install them in all our buses and in those of lots of customers, too. This video shows the installation of a Davco in our 1974 Crown bus.
I also show how I use wire to clamp hoses...it's pretty slick. The commercial tool is a Clamp-Tite, but I've got a couple tools that I made years ago and they work pretty well, too. It's a good addition to your travel tool kit.
For those who just like the old 2-stroke Detroit Diesel cold starts, there's one near the end. This is an 8V71. The cold start process starts at 21:45 and there's plenty of smoke for ya!
