With digitization and access to data, the healthcare industry is getting more and more decentralized. Which is why it relies heavily on technology combined with real live interaction, aka Health Coaching. Also discussed in this episode of Digital Health Talks is the necessity of De-Institutionalized Medicine and how the role of Diagnostics, Ongoing Treatment and Remote Patient Care can be enhanced by it.

The benefits of Institutional based care have been around for decades, but with the changes in the political, economic and social environment all health care providers (HCPs) are facing a difficult time caring for patients. The HCPs have to choose between the best quality of care and cost; they have to be prepared to either explain their decisions or have them questioned.

The global healthcare system is facing serious challenges. For example, a shortage of doctors in certain countries and regions, the aging population everywhere and the rise of lifestyle-related chronic diseases. We believe that Digital Health (especially Mobile Health) will play a major role in tackling these challenges to improve diagnosis and treatment outcomes and make healthcare delivery more efficient.
