Here at Sabine River Valley we have always dreamed of leaving the rush of the city behind, and in 2023 we finally took the plunge into homesteading on a modest 20 acre farm in East Texas. New to the rural life, we’ve traded the big city for sprawling fields and tiresome commutes for seat time in the tractor. Farming is uncharted territory for us, and learning to plant crops and manage the land may be a steep climb, but we’re embracing it with grit and determination. For us, each sunrise now brings a mix of sore muscles and small victories, a family united by the raw, rewarding rhythm of our new life.
