This is PART 3 of my '*Tulip Planting Series' -

*this time though I am planting Bluebells, Fritillaries and Daffodils as they are better suited to shaded areas and will naturalise better in grass!

Planting Tulips (and all Spring bulbs) in the ground is really easy (and similar to planting in containers), all you need is:
A planting plan: where you include early-mid-late varieties for months of colour. Make sure to select the right bulbs for the right areas of your garden (sun or shade lovers).
A planting tool: it can be a specialised planter, a shovel or simply a dibber!
Remember: always pointy side up, space about 3/4 cm apart and the planting depth is about twice the height of the bulb.
If you're planting in grass, make sure it's cut short, it will simplify planting!

Here I am using a bulb starter but that's completely optional!

Don't panic, there is still (a little bit of) time to plant your Spring bulbs, until Christmas (as they will still need a period of cold in order to flower properly).
