Emergency Vet Visit - Dog Mom Vlog

How has Christmas come and gone already????? Time just seems to be flying by! This was a hard Vlog for me to edit and post. Our Pup Fitzgibbins met a cat for the first time a few weeks ago. It did NOT go well. The cat swatted Fitz in the face....more specifically his eye. Poor Fitz! He had no clue what hit him! It wasn't until the next day that we realized how bad it was. We woke up to Fitz crying not able to open his eye. We bundled him up and went to the emergency vet. They were very kind and made it very clear that Fitz's eye was injured and there was a chance of him losing his sight in that eye. We did everything they told us to do and it did get a lil worse before it got better..... and it did get better! The meds did their job and Fitz slowly started to get better. Thank goodness. I felt like I had failed to protect him and I was completely crushed. I felt so bad for him!!! Ugh!!! Glad this is behind us and him. If you have ever had to deal with a pet emergency you know how stressful, scary, heart breaking and expensive it can be!
