Описание: Leonard Bernstein's Overture to Candide played on the Las Vegas Strip by the Las Vegas Philharmonic, comedian Jerry Lewis conducting. This video segment opened the nationally televised 2006 Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon. The music was pre-recorded by the LVPhil under associate conductor Dick McGee then pantomimed and filmed on the strip at 2am on August 27, 2006. It is believed that the LVPhil is the only symphony orchestra in the world to bring one of the busiest thoroughfares in the world to a halt for a symphonic performance!
