Experts Gennadii Donchyts and Kel Markert, demonstrate how cutting-edge mapping technology and datasets can monitor and analyze water bodies across the globe. Discover how algorithms and satellite imagery fuse to provide insights into water-related applications, from agricultural impacts to flood tracking,surface water occurrence and change mapping, coastal changes and bathymetry, moisture. Then the session provides a hands-on experience focusing on the waterbody dynamics and flood detection with optical multispectral and SAR satellite imagery.
