DIY Clapperboard Build – From Discarded Blackboard to Film-Ready Tool

Описание: I’ve just started upgrading my camera gear and taking my videography to the next level — and part of that means staying organised with a clapperboard.
Instead of buying one, I found an old blackboard in hard rubbish (left on the street for anyone to take) and thought: perfect. In this video, I take that blackboard and turn it into a working clapperboard from scratch.

This project was also a bit of a test run with my new camera gear. I wanted something low stakes so I could experiment, learn the controls, and see how everything looked once it was all cut together.

There’s something really satisfying about making your own tools. The way a carpenter might build their own workbench or mallet, this felt like that to me — creating something I’ll actually use every time I film.
