VERSE:
And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places. (ISAIAH 32:18 KJV)

EXPLANATION:
Blessed be the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Gods Word says that the heart of those who firmly trust in him will find perfect peace. Beloved, God says this day, "And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places." (Isaiah 32:18) What a blessed life God has promised his children! God is the giver of all good things. The most important of all human needs is peace. And Jesus Christ gives you peace. When he rebukes the sea and the wind, troubles cease and divine peace is filled.

We have come to the edge of the world. We are nearing the end of history. In these last days, people are losing their love for nature. As a result, all people are at peace. Crimes such as murder are committed even for small things. In times like these, we need not only security, but also undisturbed peace.

If you want to find true peace, you must seek Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Saint Augustine, a devotee, once said, "My soul was wandering restlessly. And when he saw Jesus, he rested on him." In this desolate world, if you want to relax and enjoy peace, you must come to Jesus.

When you come to Jesus, he not only gives peace, but he also makes a covenant of peace, so that the peace may last forever. "For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee." (Isaiah 54:10) Will you make a covenant of peace with this prince of peace?

To make a covenant of peace, you must put away your sins and wickedness. "There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked." (Isaiah 57:21) When you come to the cross, stand and look at Jesus, who took upon Him the sentence of peace. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5) And "the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7) when you are washed in the blood of Jesus and your sins are forgiven.

Not only do you make a covenant of peace with the Lord, but you must also learn to trust in him and rest in peace, placing your burdens and anxieties on the Lord. Some people get upset over small things. Do you know the reason? They don't trust in the Lord. They did not place their worries and burdens on the Lord. Beloved ones, leave the problems of everyday world life to the Lord. The Lord will give you true peace in spirit and soul and body when you rejoice in singing his praise!

Everyone in this world longs for peace, but only in Christ can true peace be found. The devil tries to steal peace from families through sin, sickness, oppression, and confusion. But Gods Word says that the heart of those who firmly trust in him will find perfect peace.

Beloved, if peace is lacking in your life today, come to the Lord as a family. Jesus said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) Bring your children, even if they are small, and pray together. God will build a wall of fire around your house and bless your borders with peace. He will protect you from all harm. Pray together as a family that the peace of God may fill your home.

PRAYER:
Dear father! I thank thee that thou hast promised me peace and rest. Put your hand on my house and keep it safe. Let there be a wall of fire around us, so that no evil spirit can touch us. Fill our family with your presence and bless us with joy, rest, and unity. I pray in the name of Jesus that He will always be part of our family.
