After taking this cheap GMT400 GMC to a truck pull, we decided to give it a real-world test during a New Jersey blizzard, using it as a budget snow plow.
Before the storm hit, we prepped the truck for winter conditions, then sent it into the parking lots and tight alleyways of an 1800s factory complex in Trenton, NJ.
This wasn’t a staged test. It was a real job, real snow, and real money on the line.
By the end of one plowing run, the truck had already earned back its purchase price, proving that cheap, old work trucks can still be profitable when you actually use them. One snowstorm later, the truck was completely paid off.
