Описание: در قلب طبیعت بکر و شگفت‌انگیز استان لرستان، در نزدیکی دره‌ای عمیق در خرم‌آباد، غاری باستانی کشف شده است که به احتمال زیاد، یکی از سکونت‌گاه‌های اولیه‌ی انسان‌های نخستین در فلات ایران بوده است. این غار که در دل کوه‌های زاگرس قرار دارد، با بقایای ابزارهای سنگی، ردپای آتش، و نشانه‌های ابتدایی زندگی انسان، پژوهشگران و باستان‌شناسان را شگفت‌زده کرده است.

غار کشف‌شده دارای دهانه‌ای طبیعی و بزرگ است که به فضای وسیعی در دل کوه منتهی می‌شود. با توجه به آثار موجود در این غار، قدمت آن به هزاران سال پیش بازمی‌گردد و احتمالاً از دوره‌ی پارینه‌سنگی میانی تا نوسنگی مورد استفاده قرار می‌گرفته است.

این کشف نه‌تنها تاریخ سکونت انسان در منطقه زاگرس را تأیید می‌کند، بلکه اهمیت تاریخی دره خرم‌آباد را نیز دوچندان کرده است. دره‌ای که با دیواره‌های سنگی و چشم‌اندازهای خیره‌کننده‌اش، همواره مأمن انسان و طبیعت بوده است.
