Worst/Best Purchase Yet??

Описание: I've been building cars for over 10 years now, and somehow never owned a truck. Somehow I’ve been hauling engines, transmissions, and car parts in small JDM cars ever since. This time, I finally decided to fix that.

In this video, I pick up a 1990 Nissan Hardbody D21, rough around the edges, leaking just about every fluid, no heat, no power steering, and making some questionable sounds. The KA24e engine might be knocking, the transmission is questionable, and overall it feels like it’s on its last leg.

The one saving grace? It’s pretty rust free. Coming out of Tennessee, the body is in great shape even though the interior is cracked, worn, and pretty trashed.
We don’t waste any time and start going through the truck right away; bolt check, oil change, tightening loose hardware, and a few small tweaks to see if we can stabilize it and figure out what we’re really working with.

It shares the same KA engine platform as the 240sx, so it feels right at home here. Whether this turns into a solid revival or a lesson learned, this is the start of a new Nissan project.
