In February 2019, IDIA Charitable Trust (IDIA) and the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) jointly inaugrated an accessibility lab in Kolkata dedicated to the memory of late Prof. (Dr.) Shamnad Basheer, founder of IDIA and SpicyIP.
