Organised criminal groups are paying up to £380 per stolen device and exporting them overseas.
Through Operation Skylord, we are using drones, Surrons, interceptors and live facial recognition in the West End to target offenders and the networks behind them.
In the last year:
• Hundreds of arrests
• Tens of thousands of phones recovered
• 10,000 fewer thefts across London
We are bearing down on those responsible. We are not letting up.
