I used to think that the best way to care for my clothes was to take them to the dry cleaners. Completely wrong! Dry cleaning is expensive and actually harsh on your clothes. A couple of years ago, I read about a company called The Laundress. Started by two women with backgrounds in clothing and chemistry, The Laundress sells detergents it claims you can use to wash the majority of your clothes. I was skeptical, but I tried their products and I loved the results! Today, I'm going to show you the system I use to hand and machine wash some of my clothes using The Laundress products. I'll also show you my Jiffy J2000 steamer and steamer board, which works wonders. I promise, your clothes will love the extra attention.
