Описание: DJ Sy is, hands down, one of hardcore's most popular artists. A true crowd favourite with his exceptional mixing, awesome track selection and flawless scratching, establishing himself with the 'Scratchmaster' title. Sy teamed up with DJ Unknown, forming Quosh Records in 1994 and turned it into one of the most prolific happy hardcore labels of the mid-to-late '90s. The two first met at a Fusion event and decided to collaborate on some tracks, one of the first being, the sensational, 'Are You Ready' on Hectic Records. Soon after, the two were releasing records on Quosh and continued to further their respective DJ careers. Their unique sound of emotionally atmospheric strings, subtle pianos, deep basslines and diverse drum patterns, securing them releases and remixes on multiple big labels such as Seduction's Impact Records, Slipmatt's Universal Records, Slammin' Vinyl and Homegrown Records, which was later taken over by DJ Unknown himself. Sy would become one of the first choice for big promoters such as Helter Skelter, Dreamscape and Fantazia. The content of their production vastly improved in '97 when they released two massive hits, the 'Dreadland' remix of Tiny Tots' anthem, 'Discoland' and the vocal floorfiller, 'Devotion'. In 1999, Sy was invited to join the 'Bonkers' crew for his debut mix for the ever popular series and boy did he not disappoint. His scratching over the remix of 'Sensation' is just sublime. Later that year they released 'The World of Sy & Unknown', a collection of the duo's subsequent Quosh tracks. The pairing have also produced records under various pseudonyms in many other styles including Garage, Breaks, Drum & Bass and House. With their impressive discography and legendary reputation, Sy & Unknown secure a spot in the Happy Hardcore Hall Of Fame.
