Zhang Fan è un giovane artista nato in Cina, a Hubei, nel 1989. La sua specialità è il “filo molle”, una disciplina acrobatica che si distingue dal “filo” tradizionale proprio per la debole tensione dell’attrezzo. La performance di Zhang Fan, tuttavia, si discosta dalle più comuni interpretazioni poiché l’artista, nel mostrare competenze sia da equilibrista che da verticalista, utilizza attrezzi quali la scala ed un monociclo che rendono l’esibizione particolarmente audace.
Zhang Fan is a young artist from China, born in Hubei in 1989. His speciality is the ‘slack wire’, which is a variation of the more traditional tightrope, using a loosely strung support on which to perform. Zhang Fan’s performance is further distinguished by a variety of precarious balancing acts with a ladder and a unicycle, making this number particularly exciting and risky.
