Go/no/go is a therapy frequently used to determine and treat an individual's inhibition response and is highly reliant on the frontal lobe. The exercise is designed to have the patient make a response or "go" when a particular stimulus is presented and make no response or "no-go" with another stimulus. In this video the patient was instructed to tap her opposite shoulder with an upstroke on the leg and remain still with a down stroke on the leg.Fewer errors equates to a better inhibition response. This idea is highly applicable to treat disorders like obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trichotillomania, and hoarding.
