While Auger is the worst of TM3's newcomers, Club Kid is clearly the best. While he's not especially fast for his weight class, he's still very nimble with a tight turn radius relative to the cast. But furthermore, he possesses one of the best zone control tools in the game with his Vortex special weapon. As a planted mine-like weapon, it has little range and can't really poke, it has tremendous range for a mine, sucking in anyone who gets too close into the center, and the closer they are to the center, the harder it is to get out, especially if their wheels are off the ground, and especially if you lay multiple Vortexes. And while trapped in the center, they can be easily bombarded with further attacks. It's a particularly powerful strategy to collect napalms and mortars, plant a Vortex or two, let enemies get trapped in them, and rear-spam napalms and mortars.

Should you find yourself getting sucked into the Vortex, don't fret. It spins in a clockwise spiral, and you ride the spiral and let it's own momentum carry you out of it. This is easier to do the farther away from the center you are, and harder as you get closer. Also make sure not to jump and try to stay on the ground. You need the traction to resist the pull.

Played on Pure Lunacy difficulty. Trying to go deathless.
