It is hard to believe this record was not recorded electrically. It is clear and present in a way few Edison recordings of the time are. With just two performers the engineers must have had time to position the recording horns just right.
A really fun version with the clarinet and voice answering each other back and forth. A lot of fun for all the rhythm and forward movement in the song are done simply with a Ukulele, Clarinet, and voice.
Johnny Marvin and the multi talented Andy Sannella made a really great recording for Edison. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
