Orbital bases in No Man's Sky are a well known thing. But how about floating base closer to the surface? This is where the endless pits biome comes into play. Base can float above a pit while the surrounding terrain offers beautiful vistas in all directions. Nafut Gamma planet checks out in many aspects: blue skies, turquoise waters, outstandingly rare white grass, mild weather, and bioluminescent flora, interesting flying fauna and some occasional hot storms and meteor storms to break the monotony.
Whitehaven is a pinnacle of a glitchless, functional and aesthetic base design featuring 3 levels (or 6 semi-levels) with spacious central halls, outdoor skywalks, 6 landing pads, EM power source and many ways for seamless customization.
