Davidoff Grand Cru No.4 Petite Corona Cigar Review

Описание: Today, i decided on Davidoff.
This 41 by 5" stick has a light tan wrapper with a dry leather feel. Its wrapper gives off light cedar and tobacco notes and actually has a nice firm pack. Usually, i use a V-cut on my cigars but because of this sticks overall small size, i opted in for a simple punch cut(worked just fine).
On the draw, this smoke has a rich and woody draw. Hints of cedar, tobacco, white pepper and a mild, but lingering, woody and spicy finish. Very smooth too and a little sweetness, not too much strength. Thats ok though, i feel like this would make a nice morning smoke.
Just over an inch down now. The burn is perfect. Razor sharp all the way around and the ash fell at about half an inch. The flavors are a solid medium right now. I feel like its lost some of the subtle flavors and is taking on a strong woody and hay draw, with a pleasant white pepper spice on the finish.
Just past the halfway point and the flavors have remained consistent. Ash is still dropping off in half inch chunks as well. The spice on the finish has kicked up a bit, but otherwise this is still a consistent smoke.
Hmm, getting an interesting flavor here at the band point. Its a bit metallic..actually, its more like fresh paint. Not in a bad way and in no way overpowering. I can taste hints of it on the draw, just quick flickers of it before it disappears on the finish. Interesting.
At the nub now. That light metalic/paint zing has dropped off. The draw is a very nice wood and hay mixture and the finish now is a firm black pepper. My tongue is tingling and the nub is beginning heat up and become soft so Ill end it here.
I think this is a great smoke for someone just getting into them. Or even for someone who likes lighter cigars and consitiant flavors with few shifts. The price point on Davidoff's may be a turnoff for some but I feel its worth it, at least once.
