Описание: We celebrate achievements at Hartford Hospital and today named this year’s Clinical Team of the Year. The winner is IV Therapy Services team. Among the top 10 fears of patients who are hospitalized, getting an IV inserted is #6. When an IV fails, patients experience pain, dissatisfaction, prolonged care and venous depletion. Enter the IV Therapy Team – a group of 21 nurses and vascular access experts all certified in the very specialized task of placing an IV. Very few hospitals have a dedicated team to place IVs, but our Harford Hospital team is gaining national attention for their remarkable work and the results of their study have recently led to in a publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
