After yet another day with the heat index near 100 degrees, a line of severe thunderstorms associated with a cold front develops and moves across Maryland's eastern shore and over Greensboro with a large shelf cloud at about 5:30pm on Saturday July 29th, 2023. As the storm passed over Greensboro, Maryland, it appeared to be slightly rotating, while it prompted a tornado warning as the storm moved across the Delaware border and into Sussex County.
