28:02 Final Conclusion: Endorsing Wood Chips for 365-Day Turnout
For years we have been using wood chips in combating mud and puddles in our throw-away pastures during the fall, winter, and spring seasons. We are located in Northern Ohio and face wet weather, snow, and freezing temperatures. Wood chips allow us to turnout our animals 365 days a year and have dramatically provided dry and easy footing even in bad weather. Animals are healthier. Having animals turned out reduces labor during the winters months. This video shows how to use wood chips to your advantage and where to put them. Give it a try. I am sure you will be happy with the results. This is not limited to just horses. I am sure it will work with pretty much any livestock from cows to alpacas.
