Samantha arrives looking overwhelmed, juggling school, her responsibilities at ChelseaKat, her clinic project, and Cotillion duties. Martin and Smitty immediately clock her stress, worried that her packed schedule could start affecting her academics. Samantha confesses that her real distraction isn’t the workload — it’s anxiety over her great-grandmother Anita’s health. Samantha's parents and aunt instantly understand. The family agrees the best solution is for Samantha to see Anita for herself and put her fears to rest.

Smitty stays behind due to work obligations but asks them to send his love.

At the Dupree mansion, Nicole and Martin gently talk Samantha through managing her commitments and setting boundaries. Soon, Anita and Vernon gather the family to discuss Anita's upcoming television interview with Gayle King that’s set to air nationally. She wants everyone to listen to the pre-recorded segment so they’re prepared for any attention or questions that may follow. When the interview takes place, the family listens in remotely, where all of them are in awe of Anita’s poise, candor, and undeniable strength.

Elsewhere, Smitty slips into a shadowy alley to meet Jacob. Away from prying eyes, Jacob updates him on the significant progress he’s made in their joint investigation — hinting that bigger developments may be just around the corner.
