HAVAG's TINA Tram Trials in Germany: New Rail Innovations

Описание: Wow, brand new trams are hitting the streets of Halle, Germany! HAVAG, the local transit authority, just launched trials of Stadler's innovative TINA trams. These aren't your average trams; the XL version stretches a whopping 45 meters! They're now running on lines 1, 2, and 3 for three months, testing everything from the doors to the air conditioning. HAVAG ordered a total of 56 TINA trams—17 extra-long XLs and 39 standard-sized Ms. Drivers are also getting some serious training time. The tests will see if the trams work as expected in the real world and will also check if they're as quiet as the old ones. Stadler and HAVAG are diligently addressing any noise or vibration concerns that have arisen with the increased weight. Eventually, these modern trams will replace the current, 30-year-old fleet, marking a significant upgrade for public transportation in Halle.
