In this lecture, we introduce the fundamental limit laws and apply them to compute limits algebraically.
Topics covered:
Sum, difference, product, and quotient rules
Root rule and its conditions
Limits of polynomials and rational functions
Evaluating limits by direct substitution
Nonzero over zero form
One-sided infinite limits
Graphical interpretation of vertical asymptotes
We also discuss how algebraic simplification helps in evaluating limits correctly.
Students are encouraged to write along and pause the video when needed.
