Tecsound® FT55 AL is an acoustic pipe wrap (pipe lagging), it helps to dampen vibration in pipework as well as reducing the airborne sound transfer. It is to be installed around the pipework and offers a 26DB airborne reduction.
Tecsound® FT55 AL is a three-layer product (12.5mm thick). The first layer felt, with the middle layer being Tecsound® SY50 finished with an aluminium face.
Tecsound® FT55 AL (acoustic pipe lagging) is commonly used on pipework such as: Down pipes, soil pipes, ducting HVAC units, anywhere pipework where there is a vibration issue.
