Aerial photograph of the mar saba monastery
The Mar Saba is a Greek Orthodox monastery
overlooking the Kidron Valley in West Bank
The traditional date for the founding
of the monastery by Saint Sabas
of Mutalaska, Cappadocia is the year 483
and today houses around 20 monks.
It is considered to be one of the oldest
inhabited monasteries in the world,
Few weeks ago my friend showed
me pictures of the marsaba monestary.
Since then I started to plan my next
areial photography project.
The place is located in hostile place
so I plan to flew over there instead
of passing throw the un friendly villages.
I did not sleep the night before
since I was very excited.
