Amy was previously Managing Editor of Women's Magazine South Africa as well as the ex-food editor of Women's Health Magazine.

She is very passionate about all things food and have been a published recipe developer for over five years, with a cookbook called LOVE FOOD published in English and Afrikaans in December 2020.

Amy has worked in the media and publishing industry since 2007, she has extensive experience in digital marketing, brand building, events and content – across all platforms – and that resulted in her launching her own business, Amy Hopkins Media, about 1 year ago.

She has worked with amazing brands like Totalsports, News24, and Conde Nast among others.

She is also an avid endurance athlete training and competing regularly in cycling, running and most recently, triathlons.

I have been following some of Amy’s adventures over the last couple of years, and also had the opportunity to meet up for a bike ride or two, and what was immediately apparent to me was the seeming ease with which she navigates change, transition and the new.
