One of the most amazing things I encountered inside Sydney is the group of grey-headed flying-foxes in the centennial parklands. Each night around sunset thousands of these huge bats wake up and one by one rise into the sky and fly out of the swamp to eat.
If you are in Sydney head into the parklands, have a late picnic and witness this incredible event.
