Water Meter and Piping Upgrade to 1" & Pressure Balance Loop Explanation - Episode 19 [10-9-2020]

Описание: In this video, I talk about my existing 5/8" water meter and associated piping, and my plans to upgrade it all to 1". I also discuss how I plan to pressure balance the water feeding my house / manabloc, as well as pressure balance the water going to all of my exterior hose bibs on the house, as well as my irrigation / sprinkler system. Towards the end of the video, I will fast forward to today, and show you how the replacement meter turned out, as well as discuss the process I went through to get it (it was super easy). The playlist will have all of my videos in the correct order form start to present, regardless of the date I uploaded them. It starts with how I designed the PEX and Snowmelt Loop Layout, shows the process of installing the actual heated concrete slab, demonstrates how I did the math to calculate the boiler and pump sizes, installation of all of the components, and ends with lots of time-lapse of the system melting snow. It also includes snowmelt system startup and shutdown videos, as well as walkthroughs of the mechanical room, continuous circulation design and electrical system.
