BFS UK sole reseller for Countroll® digital passport for industrial and print rollers

BFS is pleased to announce that it has become the sole UK partner and reseller for Countroll® products in the UK & Ireland.

The Countroll® Roller Management Platform provides a user-friendly digital passport for your industrial rubber rollers.

A typical rubber roller consists of a steel core that has a lifespan of 10 to 20 years and throughout that lifecycle, the roller is returned to manufacturers to be recovered several times.

For Rubber Roller manufacturers, Countroll® is a digital and paperless solution for identifying and recovering returned rollers allowing them to be tracked through the various production stages when being remanufactured and can be linked to ERP systems to automate sales order input.

For customers and machine manufacturers, Countroll® is a solution that provides valuable information about roller assets such as lifetime, specification, valuation, and location.

This information is offered to the customer via the Countroll® app (and QR label). The QR code, either on a label or stainless steel, opens the app to gain access to all the information about the roller. These special QR labels are adhered to the steel core end and are designed to operate in harsh production environments and at high temperatures whilst rubbers are being cured in autoclaves.

The countroll® platform was developed in Belgium and already manages more than 60,000 rollers.

Countroll® is now taking the next step to use Artificial Intelligence to predict the future (when to change a roller) and inform customers via a traffic light dashboard when the regrinding or recovering of their industrial rollers is needed.

The Countroll® digital passport can be used with all types of industrial rollers and sleeves including rubber, polyurethane, anilox, chrome, ceramic and more.
