In the last 24 hours, major airlines such as Lufthansa,
Air France and others
have suspended flights to and over parts of the Middle East,
signaling rising safety concerns
and the growing risks of regional airspace.
Meanwhile, the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier strike group,
accompanied by multiple guided missile destroyers,
has entered Middle Eastern waters from the Indian Ocean,
signaling that tensions between the US and Iran
could escalate at any moment.
Iran, for its part,
is reportedly preparing militarily for a potential US action
and warned that any attack on Iran
could trigger a large scale conflict,
also leveraging its regional allies including Lebanon's Hezbollah,
Yemen's Houthis and militias in Iraq,
warning that US interests and bases in the region could be targeted
if Washington intervenes.
